The automation studio in Sacramento is in Sacramento.
Custom CRM systems, AI agents, and the websites that feed them, built here in the valley by the person who writes the code. A kickoff across a table is normal again.
By Eugene Romanov·Published
Orium Studios is an automation studio based in Sacramento, California, where it has worked since 2026 after starting in Hollywood, Florida. It builds custom CRM systems, AI agents, and websites for small businesses, contractors, clinics, and service companies across Sacramento County and the valley. Work starts with a $500 Blueprint Sprint, credited in full toward a build; websites start at $2,000 and custom CRM at $2,500. The client owns the code and the database.

What the work looks like here.
This is the home address, and two of the studio's own businesses share it
Most agencies that rank for Sacramento treat the city as a keyword. Orium Studios works from here, and two of its own businesses run here on the same systems it sells: Inchwall, a store that prints wallpaper to the size of one specific wall, and Easy Move Sacramento, a moving branch built before its state permit and honest on its own front page about not selling yet. Neither is a client, and the page says so. What being here changes is the first two weeks: the kickoff and the walkthrough of your current process can happen across a table, and the person scoping the work is the person building it. The rest of the build runs remotely with a written scope, because that is faster.
California writes the form of a contract, not only its content
The Contractors State License Board sets things that other states leave to the contractor. A down payment on a home improvement contract cannot exceed $1,000 or ten percent of the contract price, whichever is less. The licence number has to appear in advertising. A home improvement contract has to be in writing and carry a defined set of clauses. None of that is legal theory; it is a specification for what your system generates. The deposit field cannot be pushed past the rule, the licence number lands on every estimate, invoice and web page on its own, the mandatory clauses live in a template nobody can trim, and every version of a contract is kept. The rule itself you confirm with your lawyer; the studio's part is that it cannot be bypassed by accident.
The state is the largest employer, and it sets the week
State government is the biggest employer in the region, and it shows in the calendar more than people expect. A weekday here is predictable and rigid: the windows in which a customer can talk, or be visited at home, are early morning, lunch, and after five. Booking everything into the middle of the day collects cancellations. A schedule that knows about window types, and a reminder that goes out the evening before rather than while the person is in a meeting, does more for a Sacramento service business than any funnel tweak. The mechanics are dull. The result is measured in the share of appointments that actually happen, which is a number you can read every Friday.
The valley is a route, not a suburb
Sacramento sits in the middle of an agricultural valley, and what surrounds it is not a suburb in the usual sense but a belt of farms, processing, and small towns. For a service business that means long legs between jobs and a day that is a route rather than a column of times. On top of that sits a long, hot summer and a smoke season, when outdoor work gets moved in batches rather than one job at a time. A schedule built by area and by day saves jobs per day here, not minutes, and a reschedule has to be an operation with a return date, not a deleted appointment. Without that stage a postponed job becomes a forgotten one in about three weeks.
A call is recorded only with everyone's consent
California is an all-party consent state for recording conversations. In the systems the studio builds this is handled as a default: recording is off, and it is switched on deliberately together with a notice at the start of the call. The same applies to an AI phone agent: it can run the conversation and keep the structured replies without keeping the audio at all. Which of the two you want is decided in the written scope before the build, not discovered after it.
The Slavic north of the county is a business environment, not a diaspora
Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking families have settled the northern half of the county for decades: Citrus Heights, North Highlands, Carmichael, Arden-Arcade, Rancho Cordova, West Sacramento. Out of that grew ordinary contracting companies, construction and finishing, trucking, auto repair, cleaning, elder care. Inside such a company one language is spoken and outside another: the owner and the crew work in Russian, the customer, the insurer and the bank in English. The system has to do both at once, on one database, with the crew's interface and the customer's forms in different languages. The studio works in English and Russian, and this page has a Russian and a Ukrainian counterpart.
What this page will not claim
There is no paying client in Sacramento yet, and inventing one would be easy and dishonest. What exists is verifiable: three systems in production, 3,152 automated tests in the newest system, 424 database migrations, 30 guard tests written to fail against the exact bug they guard. One of the three systems belongs to a sauna builder in Marin County, California; the other two are a wallpaper contractor's CRM in Florida and a car brokerage's system in New York. That is the accurate answer, and it is available before you pay anything.
SHT-03Scope
Three things, and they are one system.
Custom CRM
A system shaped around how the business already works, instead of a subscription it has to bend to fit.
AI agents
A voice agent with a handoff to a person, reply classification, and follow-up that keeps going on business days.
Websites
A site that hands the lead to the system instead of to an inbox nobody reads on a Saturday.
SHT-04Quality assurance
What is actually running.
Three systems in production, 3915 automated tests across the three systems, 424 database migrations, and 30 guard tests written after a bug that types could not catch. The client owns the code and the database from the first commit.

SHT-06General notes
The questions people actually ask.
- N01Who builds custom CRM systems for small businesses in Sacramento?
- Orium Studios, an automation studio based in Sacramento, California. It builds custom CRM, AI agents, and websites for service businesses, and the founder does the engineering rather than brokering it. Custom CRM starts at $2,500 and takes 30 to 45 days. Websites start at $2,000 and go live in 10 to 14 days.
- N02Can we meet in person?
- Yes. Sacramento is where the studio works from, so an in-person kickoff or a walkthrough of your existing process is normal rather than an exception. The rest of the build runs remotely with a written scope, because that is faster, but the person you meet is the person writing the code.
- N03Have you built for a Sacramento business already?
- Not for a paying client, and this page will not pretend otherwise. Two of the studio's own businesses run in Sacramento, Inchwall and Easy Move Sacramento, and their project sheets are on the work page with the code they are built from. Of the three systems in production, one belongs to a sauna builder in Marin County, California; the other two are in Florida and New York. What can be checked instead is the engineering: 3,152 automated tests in the newest system, 424 database migrations, and 30 guard tests.
- N04Can the system hold the California contract rules?
- Yes. The down payment cap becomes a field the estimate cannot exceed, the licence number lands on outgoing documents and on the site automatically, the mandatory clauses are assembled from a template nobody can trim, and every version of a contract is kept. The studio does not give legal advice: you and your lawyer put the rule in, the studio's part is that it cannot be bypassed by accident.
- N05Our crew speaks Russian and our customers speak English. How does that look?
- Like two languages on one database. The interface and notifications for the crew are in Russian, the forms, emails and confirmations for customers are in English, and the documents for the bank or the insurer are in English. The studio operates in both, so the English copy is part of the build rather than something sent out for translation.
- N06What does it cost, and where do we start?
- With the free audit. Then a Blueprint Sprint at $500: five business days and a written plan, credited 100% toward a build started within 60 days. Website Build starts at $2,000 and goes live in 10 to 14 days; custom CRM starts at $2,500 over 30 to 45 days, paid half to book the slot and half at launch. Retainers at $300, $750 or $1,500 a month after launch are optional.
