Custom CRM, AI agents and automation for Fort Lauderdale businesses.

Built for marine trades, canal-front service work, and a year that is not the same in February as it is in July.

Orium Studios is an automation studio in Hollywood, Florida that builds custom CRM systems, AI agents and websites for small businesses in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, including marine trades whose unit of work is a vessel rather than a street address. One engineer scopes, builds and supports each system. Prices are published: $500 Blueprint Sprint, websites from $1,200, custom CRM from $2,000. The client owns the code and the database.

What the work looks like here.

01

The job is a vessel, not an address

The marine sector is one of the largest business sectors in Greater Fort Lauderdale, and it produces a shape of work that off-the-shelf CRMs model badly. The thing being serviced is a boat with a name, a hull number and a slip that changes. The person who authorises the work is often the captain, while the person who pays is the owner, and they are two different contacts with two different levels of access. Off-the-shelf software gives you one address field and one primary contact. We make the vessel the record, hang the service history off it, and keep owner and captain distinct so the approval goes to whoever is actually allowed to give it.

02

The year is not flat, so the reports should not be either

Season here is real. Autumn brings the boat show, winter brings the residents back, and summer empties out. A dashboard that compares this month to last month will tell a Fort Lauderdale owner that business collapsed in June every single year. We build reporting that compares this season to the same season last year, and we time recurring service reminders to the calendar rather than to a rolling ninety days, so the haul-out prompt lands before the yard fills up rather than after.

03

The person approving the work is somewhere else

Between absentee owners, second homes and boats in transit, a lot of decisions here are made by someone who is not in Florida this week. That turns approvals into the slowest part of the job. We build quotes that a client can read and approve from a phone in another time zone, with photos of the actual problem attached, and change orders that go out as a link rather than as a phone call somebody has to return. The record of who approved what, and when, is written automatically instead of remembered.

04

Downtown and Las Olas run on the booked appointment

Away from the water, the dense business here is hospitality, boutique professional services and clinical practices along the Las Olas and Federal corridors. Their number is not leads, it is appointments that show up. The system worth building is the one that confirms, reminds and rebooks without staff time, and that can tell you which source produced consults that actually closed rather than which source produced form fills. Those are different reports and most tools only give you the second one.

What is actually running.

Three systems in production, 557 automated tests, 352 database migrations, and 13 guard tests written after a bug that types could not catch. The client owns the code and the database from the first commit.

SHT-06General notes

The questions people actually ask.

N01Can a CRM track boats instead of addresses?
Yes. A custom build starts from what your business actually works on. If that is a vessel, the vessel is the record, with hull identification, current yard or slip, service history, haul-out dates and separate owner and captain contacts. Nothing about that requires bending a template designed for houses.
N02Have you built a system for a marine business before?
No. Three systems are in production and none of them are marine. What transfers is the pattern rather than the vertical: a job attached to a physical asset, a schedule, an approval chain and a document trail is the same engineering problem as a wallpaper contractor's project or a car brokerage's deal. The scoping work is where the marine specifics get captured, and that is what the Blueprint Sprint is for.
N03We are slow in summer. Are we locked into a monthly fee?
No. The build is paid 50 percent to book the slot and 50 percent at launch. Retainers are optional, month to month, and only discussed after launch: $300 for maintenance and monitoring, $750 for ongoing automation and reporting, $1,500 for active optimisation and new agents.
N04Can clients approve quotes and change orders remotely?
Yes. Quotes go out as a link the client opens on a phone, with photos and line items, and approval is a tap that timestamps itself onto the job. Change orders work the same way. This is usually the single largest reduction in calendar time on a Fort Lauderdale project.
N05How fast is this, realistically?
A website build goes live in 10 to 14 days from $1,200. A custom CRM is 30 to 45 days from $2,000. The $500 Blueprint Sprint takes five business days and is credited in full against a build started within 60 days, so the plan costs nothing if you go ahead.
