Moving company websites · built by a mover

Moving company websites that answer the price question first.

Built by the founder of Easy Move, a moving company with a branch in Florida and a second opening in California. A quote calculator on the page, every request landing in a CRM, and a follow-up that does not depend on somebody remembering.

The problem

A moving lead is a price question asked to three companies on the same evening. If the answer is a form and a promise to call back tomorrow, the comparison is decided by whoever answered tonight. The calls that do come in arrive while the crew is loading a truck, and the ones nobody picks up do not leave a message.

What we build

We build the site the way Easy Move's own was built: a calculator that turns home size, crew and stairs into a figure on the page, a call and WhatsApp path for the customer who would rather talk, and every request landing in a CRM as a record with its follow-up attached. In California the figure is called a planning range, not an estimate, because the state tariff keeps that word for a written estimate after an inspection.

Our own

Built for the founder's own moving company first.

Easy Move is Eugene Romanov's own business, not a client. The Florida branch quotes moves on the calculator on this page; the Sacramento branch was built before its California permit, around the state's tariff. Neither changes the number of paying clients quoted anywhere on this site.

Where the AI is

The call that comes in while the crew is loading a truck.

A voice agent can hold a conversation while everyone at a moving company is carrying something. In WallFlow, the studio's own CRM for wallpaper contractors, a Vapi assistant runs the call. When it ends, the webhook checks a shared secret before it believes anything it was sent, reads the duration to tell a conversation from a wrong number, normalizes the caller's number to E.164 and matches it to the lead record, then sends a Telegram message into the studio's own founder chat carrying the number, the name, how the call ended, the summary, the front of the transcript and a link to the recording. A call that lasted a few seconds is written down and not announced. The limit worth stating: which line an assistant sits on is a setting in the phone provider's dashboard, not something the code records, so what this proves is the report and the handoff rather than a phone that rings in. What it is not allowed to do: it does not quote a final price, it does not promise a date, and it does not book a crew. No moving company is running this today, Easy Move included. This is what the code does, not a case study.

What's on a moving companies site we build

  • Quote calculator: home size, crew, stairs and the hourly minimum
  • "Planning range" wording where the state tariff reserves "estimate"
  • Call, WhatsApp and the quote form on every screen of the phone layout
  • Every request lands in the CRM as a record with a follow-up date
  • Booking confirmation and a review request after the move
  • Pages in English, Russian and Ukrainian where your customers need them
  • Local SEO for the cities and ZIPs you actually serve

Moving Companies: the questions owners ask before they buy

Q01Can a moving website show a price without a site visit?
It can show a planning figure, and it should, because the customer is comparing companies tonight. Easy Move's calculator takes home size, crew size and stairs and applies the company's own rate card: an hourly rate by crew, a three-hour minimum, the truck, and stairs billed as time rather than a fee. In California the figure is labelled a planning range, because the state tariff gives the word estimate to a written document after a visual inspection. The written estimate stays with you.
Q02We move in Sacramento. Does the California tariff change the site?
Yes, in two places. An hourly local move in California is billed for loading, unloading and double the driving time between the two addresses, so the calculator and the explanation have to say so. And the word estimate is reserved for the written estimate after an inspection. Easy Move Sacramento was built around both rules, and a check in its code fails the build if the copy misquotes the tariff in any of its three languages.
Q03Do movers need a CRM, or is a spreadsheet enough?
A spreadsheet is enough while one person takes every call. It stops being enough when two people quote, when a customer who called also writes on WhatsApp, or when nobody can say which quotes got a follow-up. Websites start at $2,000; a CRM fitted to your trade starts at $1,500 and a custom one at $2,500. Start with whichever leak costs you more.
Q04Will an AI agent take calls while the crew is on a job?
It can hold the call and hand it over, which is the whole design. The assistant in WallFlow runs the conversation, the webhook checks its shared secret, buckets the call by how long it ran, matches the caller against the lead record and messages the studio's own founder chat with the name, the summary and the recording link. Attaching an assistant to your business line is a provider setting on top of that build, not something already running for a mover. Prices and dates stay with you.
Q05How fast does a moving site go live, and what does it cost?
Websites start at $2,000 and go live in 10 to 14 days. A $500 Blueprint Sprint comes first when the scope is not obvious, and it is credited in full toward the build. The free audit is the step before either: a short video on where your current site loses the quote request.
